How we build
Too many apps are cluttered, distracting and hollow. We build the opposite: quiet, fast, deeply useful software — designed before a single line of code is written.
Every screen is crafted before it's coded. Beautiful software works better.
Performance is a feature. Every interaction should feel instant.
We collect only what each app needs to work — and we say exactly what that is.
We ship, then keep improving. Every update makes the app a little more right.
The studio
Rosu Studio is a one-person independent app studio based in Romania. Every app that ships under this name — from the first sketch to the store listing — is designed, coded, tested and polished by a single developer. That constraint isn't a weakness; it's the whole point. Nothing gets built by committee, and nothing ships before it feels right.
The studio grew out of a personal frustration in late 2024: no habit tracker felt right. They were either too simplistic or gamified in a cheap, hollow way. The answer became StreakLife — a habit tracker built around streaks, a daily XP system and a customizable avatar, with cloud sync so your progress follows you. The first version was built in early 2025 and has been used daily by its own developer ever since. It is currently in closed testing on Google Play, on the road to public release.
In 2026 the studio was formalized, and the pipeline grew to three apps. Would You Ever turns Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever questions into a swipe-voting game where you can see the global community's answers as live percentages. Guess the Percent asks you one question a day, drawn from real studies by YouGov, Pew Research and Gallup — you guess the percentage on a slider from 0 to 100 and watch the real answer revealed. Both are approaching launch.
Everything is built with Flutter, which lets one developer ship native-feeling Android apps without an army of engineers. Behind the scenes, Google Firebase handles what each app actually needs — and nothing more: StreakLife uses Firebase Authentication and Firestore for account sync, Would You Ever uses anonymous authentication with aggregated votes only, and Guess the Percent works with no account at all.
No growth hacks, no dark patterns, no data resale. The apps are free to download, and each one states plainly what data it touches — you can read every policy in one place in our legal hub. If something's broken or an idea is worth hearing, the person reading the message is the person who wrote the code. Say hello.
StreakLife is in closed testing and two more apps are close behind. Follow the journey or get in touch — we read every message.
